There are different ways to obtain a Nepalese visa, it can be obtained upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu; at the Nepal-India border, at the Nepal-China border and can also be obtained at the Nepalese embassies and consulates near you. In order to best prepare your arrival you can fill out a pre-application form online and finalize it when you arrive at the airport. However, note that this pre-application can only be made a maximum of two weeks before your arrival in the territory. Your visa takes effect from the day you arrive on Nepalese soil. Concerning your place of residence in Nepal, you can enter the address of your hotel. When you apply, you will need a passport photo in JPEG format and a copy of your passport (it must be valid for 6 months after the date you apply for a visa).
