He was born and grown up in Taksindu, Hewa village, located in the lap of Mt Everest in a Sherpa family. After completing his secondary school level education in the village, he started working in tourism industry as a porter at the age of 14 and thus it triggered his motivation to be a guide, to be a nature lover, to be the person whom he wishes to be. Dawa always loved this profession, and he says the knowledge I acquire on different culture, religion and system by interacting with the tourist has given me a lot beside this corresponds to my interest perfectlyâ€. Thus this passion of his let him to study even more about people, culture, and system.
Graduated in English literature and Sociology + Anthropology, Dawa has more than 10 years of guiding experience throughout the Nepal, speaking some local dialects with French, English, Nepali, Hindi, and a bit of Korean is one of the best guide we have for you.
