Mera Peak is the highest “trekking peak” in Nepal, and its ascent offers one of the most beautiful views of the towering summits of the Himalayas.
While physically demanding due to the altitude, the ascent of Mera Peak is not technically difficult. Its snow slopes rarely exceed 30 degrees, and the route is carefully designed to allow for gradual acclimatization. Starting from Lukla, the path takes you through remote Sherpa villages nestled among rhododendron forests, the secret Hinku Valley, and gradually into a more rugged and mineral-rich landscape where snow-capped peaks begin to appear.
Reaching the summit of Mera Peak at sunrise, standing face-to-face with Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu, will leave you with an unforgettable memory!
