Mount Manaslu is located east of the Annapurna Range. Recently opened to tourists, the unparalleled beauty of Manaslu and the rich mix of Tibetan and Nepalese culture offer a real adventure to visitors to Nepal. Here you will find mountains and valleys covered with varied and pristine ecosystems. Fantastic views of the mountains, a rich culture and a real adventure stir up hikers who climb to the base of Mount Manaslu. You will soon understand what inspired Eric Valli to create his world-famous documentary, Honey Hunter of Nepal.
The inhabitants of the upper Buri Gandaki region are known as Nuri; their language and dress are quite similar to those of neighboring Tibetans. These local populations of the Himalayas still earn their living through trade with Tibet. The mountain views from Nupri are sensational and the crossing of Larke La Pass is one of the most beautiful and spectacular in the Himalays.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Day of preparation For the trek and visit in Request.
Day 3: Kathmandu – BARPAK 1900 m/10hrs drive by private Jeep.
Day 4: Trek to LAPRAK 2100m/5h30.
Day 5: Trek to KHORLA BESI 900m/7hrs.
Day 6: Trek to Jagat 1340 m/5h30.
MANASLU REGION
Day 07: Trek to Deng 1860m/6hrs trek.
Day 08: Trek to Namrung 2630m/6hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Lho 3390m/4hrs. (Monastery visit)
Day 10: Trek to Samagau 3500m 3rd trek (village visit)
Day 11: Excursion to MANASLU Base Camp 4800m and return to Samagaun in the same Lodge.
Day 12: Trek to Samdo 3850m – 2hrs trek to acclimatize.
Day 13: Trek to Dharamsala 4460m/3h30 of trek and rest.
Day 14: Trek to Larkya La 5160m – Bimthang 3720m/9hrs trek.
ANNAPURNA REGION
Day 15: Trek to Dharapani (1860m – on the Annapurna circuit) 7hrs.
Day 16: Dharapani – Kathmandu: By jeep to Besisahar 3hrs drive on the off road then by private car to Kathmandu on the dirt road which takes 5hrs more.
Day 17: Rest day in Kathmandu.
Day 18: Departure from Kathmandu.
