Langtang, the third most popular trekking region in Nepal lies directly north of Kathmandu. The Gosaikunda Lakes (the most popular Hindu pilgrimage site) is situated in this region. Langtang also boasts baffling extremes in topography and climate conditions; in just one day you can cross five different vegetation zones, trekking from the subtropics up to the timberline.
This trek brings you to the Langtang Valley surrounded by Himalayan Peaks. Langtang Lirung-7240m and Ganesh Himal is the highest in the region. Trek to the sacred Lakes of Gosainkunda, climb the Gosainkunda pass into the Valley of Helambu. This circuit trek is one of the most beautiful trek to be done whilst in Nepal.
Your trekking preparation:
This trek is considered as a non-technical trek and suitable for average people. If you are moderately fit and have a sense of adventure you will enjoy this trek. The program is designed to acclimatize you gradually and not to experience high altitude sickness. However you are requested to check your altitude fitness and the itinerary.
We suggest you to strengthen your knee muscles and prepare for several days of steep descents. Some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming, biking or aerobics is recommended, but mostly hiking on steep hills or running up and down steps are preferable.
Please note that the following program is prepared in the fact basis however can be change in some circumstances but adjustments will have to be made during the trekking. We request you to be flexible with the situation to enjoy yourself.
Camping: if you want to do this trek with the camping arrangement and would want to have the adventure of Camping in Himalayas, it is also a good options. Everything is handled by our team of porters, sherpas and cooks who carry the equipment, fix the camp and have hot meals waiting for you at every food break.

Day 02: Pre- trip Meeting and preparation day for the trek.
Day 03: Drive to Syabru-besi 1500m/7hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel 2470m/4hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Langtang 3100m/6hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa 4060m/3hrs.
Day 07: Excursion to Tsergo Ri – 5033m and back to Kyanjin Gompa/6hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Lama Hotel 2500m/5hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Thulosyabru 2210m/4hrs.
Day 10: Trek to Sing Gompa 3254m/5hrs.
Day 11: Trek to Gosainkunda 4380m/5hrs.
Day 12: Excursion to Surya peak – 5100m and back to Gosainkunda.
Day 13: Trek to Ghopte crossing over Laurebina Pass 4610m/6hrs.
Day 14: Trek to Kutumsang 2470m/5hrs.
Day 15: Trek to Chisapani 2215m/5hrs.
Day 16: Trek ends at Sundarijal – 1360m than drive to Kathmandu.
Day 17: Leisure day in Kathmandu, overnight at hotel.
Day 18: Departure.
