Originally, two people, Kusang and his brother Pasang, started creating a French-speaking trekking agency in Nepal in 2010. The passion for the mountains and the profession of guide was passed down from father to son: “When we were children, we saw Dad working in tourism and we thought it was possible to live from his passion”. Originally from the mountains and belonging to the Sherpa people who once guided travellers on their mountain routes. They decided to pass on their love of travel. Having started as porters, guides and then travel tour organizers, they now have 20 years’ significant experience in accompanying and organizing trekking expeditions.
As the meetings and exchanges progressed, the small agency began to evolve and now has 10 specialized guides. Panorama Himalaya offers trekking and high mountain experiences adapted to your desires and physical conditions in Nepalese regions such as Mustang, Everest, Annapurnas, Kanchenjunga, Mount Kailash… We also offer other activities such as cultural visits to Nepal’s cities and sports activities such as rafting. To make everyone feel comfortable on their trip, our guides are French-speaking. English, Italian and Spanish are also commonly used.
