The Royal Trek in Nepal is a popular short trek that takes you through the beautiful Annapurna region. It is named the Royal Trek because it was once traveled by Prince Charles of the United Kingdom and his entourage in the early 1980s.
The Royal Trek is a relatively easy and short trek that can be completed in around 4-5 days. It offers stunning views of the snow-capped mountains, picturesque villages, terraced fields, and lush green forests. The trek starts from the lakeside town of Pokhara and follows a gentle trail that passes through the villages inhabited by Gurung and Magar communities.
During the trek, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of mountains like Annapurna, Machhapuchhre / Fishtail, and Lamjung Himal. You will also get a chance to interact with the friendly locals, experience their unique culture and hospitality and witness their traditional lifestyle.
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Pre – trip Meeting and preparation day for the trek.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus / 7hrs.
Day 04: Drive to trailhead Bijaypur – Kalikasthan 1370m / 7hrs.
Day 05: Trek to Shaklung 1730m / 6hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Chisopani 1650m / 6hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Begnas Lake 850m / 5hrs.
Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus / 7hrs.
Day 09: Rest in Kathmandu.
Day 10: Final Departure.
