The Gokyo Valley offers a magnificent view of the mountain peaks. First, you can see the Ngozumpa glacier, the largest in the Himalayas in Nepal. This mountainous region is one of the most popular in Nepal. You can see Cho Oyu, Everest, Lhotse and Makalu at 8000 meters above sea level. The view of the ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung 2922 m is remarkable.
After a thirty-five minute flight from Kathmandu and landing at Lukla, the adventure really begins. Then we spend the next few days hiking and talking with the mountain people, also known as Sherpa. Then we will stay in local lodges and walk through the heart of the villages. Along the way, we will pass by Buddhist monasteries with a view of Everest. We will have rest days in the villages of the Namche bazaar, this will allow us to explore the area and acclimatize, which is very important. Day 03: Flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. Trek to Phadking 2700m/2.30hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3420m/5hrs.
Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche 3420.
Day 06: Trek to Phortse Thanga 3500m/5hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Dole 4200m/5hrs.
Day 08: Trek to Machhermo 4410m/4:30hrs.
Day 09: Trek to Gokyo 4750m/5hrs.
Day 10: Acclimatization day in Gokyo
Day 11: Trek to Phortse 3840m/5hrs.
Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3440m/5hrs.
Day 13: Trek to Lukla 5:30hrs.
Day 14: Lukla to Kathmandu flight.
Day 15: Free day / this extra day is very important in-case of bad weather.
Day 16:Departure.
