The trek starts with an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the heart of the Khumbu Region. The rest of the day is an easy trek, around three hours to our first overnight stay at Phakding. We move north upward the Dudh Kosi valley to Namche Bazaar, the major trading hub of the region. From Namche the trail follows the Imja Khola and on route there are some spectacular views of the Khumbu Himal, Thamserku and Kantega with Amadablam in the distance. Dominating the skyline ahead are Everest and Lhotse.

The trail ascends and climbs gradually up the Imja Khola and eventually emerging above the tree line before Dingboche. Dingboche to Kalapatthar takes a further two days via the Everest glacier for a truly “hands on” experience of Mt. Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse which tower above. It takes further five days retracing to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu. An attainable trek for anyone who is reasonably fit, with the itinerary set to minimize any effects of altitude. almost every part of the trek in everest region a is interesting but this trek is to challenge oneself for your own satisfaction as the Renjo la pass and Chola pass demand a bit stamina and a bit endurance, the views from the top of these two pass is inexplicable, the clouds of mountains, that feel of heaven on earth, the silence on the top is something that everybody wants to have and feel in life.
